Metal Watering Can

The basics of this tool however is to apply water to plants, anything beyond that function is just for whimsey. There are however some special needs to think about when purchasing one. Like do I need an indoor watering can, or one that works well inside for watering pots? If so, do I need one with a long or short spout? Or do I need a gardening watering

can? This might need to be larger and perhaps a copper watering can would work better outside in the elements or even a galvanized watering can. So give some thought to your watering needs before you buy one.

Garden Watering Can

An old wooden watering can on the potting shed table adds a bit of charm to the setting, but these are rarely very functional. One of the most popular makes is the haws watering cans. Some may ask ” Haws watering cans why are they so special ? ” They are just a tool that feels right in your hand. They have a haws copper watering can as well as a haws indoor watering can. So they may be your one stop shop for your H2O needs.

Indoor Watering Can

I remember using a small metal watering can to add some moister to a large Boston fern. I was glad the spout was long and slender to reach through the blades and apply the water directly to the soil, so it did not spill. As I remember the balance of that garden watering can was excellent, making using it a joy. Our current house has flower beds just outside the front door that  require a small  watering can to reach all the little plants.

Children’s Watering Can

Children love to water the flowers and plants using small metal watering cans, they like to play with the water even more. It is hard to get mad at them, and let them use sturdy haws water cans and stop worrying about them, it will stand up to the test. They might even get some water on the plants.
